My title is pretty self-explanatory, but my name was given to me by my mother. I never asked why.

Ha! Where to start? I inherited aspects of Death from my father; I see and monitor the lifelines of everyone on Earth. I keep an eye on all their decisions and edit the length of their lives depending on their choices. I can also kill them if they piss me off.

My father is the archangel Samael. My mother left me with his household when I was very young, and I was raised by Lilith and her sisters. And then there’s my half-brother… Azrael. We’re… not talking.

I was… what do you mortals call it? Ah yes, homeschooled. I wasn’t really allowed to leave the house. But that was eons ago. My official education stopped when none of the angels would take me on as an apprentice. Currently I'm on a very steep learning curve.

Marry? Maybe. But he doesn’t know I exist.
